Angelica was born in Cartagena, Colombia. At 17 she began her musical career singing rancheras with the mariachi band 'Dos Generaciones' and had the opportunity to tour with them all over Colombia. Her big break came in 1998 when she finished third in a competition organized by Radio Activa (radio station) with a hundred others taking part. She came to England in 2002 performing traditional music from different parts of Latin America including salsa , Merengue , Cumbia , Vallenato , Tropical and more.

Latin, spanish and flamenco flavours, old and new, rocky and funky, daring to improvise a reggae, a son montuno or even drum n'bass... They might start a fire or cool it down depending on the audience needs but always keeping it warm...
